When asked what she learned during her time as a Roswell XC runner, Ainsley replied, “I learned to push myself harder.” She joined the team as a Freshman and leaves as a runner with plans to continue to run with a running club or club team when she goes to college next FallHer favorite part of her past four years on XC has been the XC Team Spirit and cheering on every runner.

I’ve been running since 8th grade when I joined Jr. Hornets, and I’ve run all 4 years for the high school. My favorite meet was the Great American Cross Country meet in North Carolina last year. I liked it because it was a trip that spanned multiple days and I got to spend a few days with my friends running and doing other things. After high school, I plan on studying computer science at college. I will continue running casually on my own but not on an official team. I’ve learned how to be committed to a sport and how to have the mindset to improve in it.

Simon is a senior and first year XC Runner for Roswell. At the Fulton County Championships, he received a PR. Simon will attend UNG in the Fall where he plans to stay beyond his four years of undergraduate work to pursue his graduate degree. After six years of college, he will enter the Army Ranger Training School and prepare for a deployment with the US Army. When asked what he learned from RHSXC he commented, “Every time I thought I reached my physical threshold, I pushed through and realized it was much higher.” Simon plans to continue running while in college.
