Parent Meeting- This Thursday, 6:00 RHS Auditorium
Mandatory meeting this Thursday for parents and athletes. Uniforms will be handed out. Season expectations will be explained and all questions answered! Students will be released at 6:30 for practice.
If you are new to the team and owe booster club fees, Vicki Manus will be available after the meeting to take payment. Paypal payment will be available.
1st Meet this Friday!!! Battle of the Fairways, Fairways of Canton Golf Course
Address is 400 Laurel Canyon Trail, Canton, GA 30114. There will be a $5 entrance fee per person. Schedule of events is as follows:
6:00 pm stage 1 Jv Girls
6:20 pm stage 2 Jv Boys
6:40 pm stage 3 V- Girls
7:00 pm stage 4 V- Boys
7:20 pm stage 5 Championship Girls (Elite top 7 per team)
7:40 pm stage 6 Championship Boys (Elite top 7 per team)
Athletes will board a bus after school and head to the meet. Send your athlete with extra cash for concessions at the event. The buses should return to the school between 9:30 and 10:00.
1st Pasta Dinner of the Season is on Friday, August 23rd
The team will head over to the Abby Smith’s house for the team’s first pasta dinner after practice at 5:30 or right after practice ends. Practice this day will be after school. Address is 525 Meadowland Court (off West Road/92). Athletes will need to be picked up by 7:15.

The 2019 Covered Bridge Run is around the corner, September 7th
26 days and counting…. What a great day for our team and the whole running community.
We will have 26+ HS teams running in the morning and 10+ MS teams running in the evening. RHS XC Booster Club and the Coaches run this event. We ask that each family take one shift. There will be a meeting in the next week to review and organize. Please sign up at this link:
Covered Bridge T-Shirts are now on Sale!
Thank you to Vicki Tribick for creating our beautiful new T-Shirt design and race logo this year. See above. Please go to TEAM APP > HORNET STORE to order. We will take the last order for shirts in one week, August 20th. Shirts will be available the week of the meet. It would be most helpful if volunteers for the race each had a shirt so that you are easier to identify in the crowds.
