AREA MEET Results:

Congratulations to our BOYS and GIRLS for qualifying for the GEORGIA STATE MEET!

 

Varsity Girls finished 5th to clinch their spot at state.  The race was led by Mallie McKenzie (6th) and Sarah Sandreuter (11th) with strong support from Rosie Grant (38th), Mary Rains (42nd), Abby Smith (45th), Roxanne Colson (68th), and Addison Turnbull (70th).  Congratulations!

Varsity Boys finished 6th to earn their spot at STATE.  Jack Rhodes led the way with a 15th place finish with strong runs by Michael Parnes (26th), Jordan Gomez (40th), Christian Cartier (43rd), Jacob Brunner (49th), JC Dombrowski (50th), and David Cartier (69th).  Congratulations!

JV Girls ran a solid race finishing 7th overall.  Girls in scoring position were: Leah Ehrhardt, Courtney Webb, Kelly Foit, Julia Haley and Maggie Stephens.

JV Boys had an impressive 5th place finish.  It was great to watch Thomas Brunner, Kendrick Wong, Miguel Villaca, Adam Clark and Drew Stowers as they all crossed the finish line together.  Always a team!

Girls Open were equally impressive with a 5th place finish from the efforts of Katie Nay, Ainsley Gillespie, Kalea Mills, Leah Taylor, and Kennedy Trebilcock.

Boys Open also finished strong with a 6th place finish.  Boys in scoring position were: Dylan Burns, Tai Crisco, Drew Claerbout, Josh Davis and Robbie Allen.

Potato Bar Dinner:

A HUGE Thank You to the Stovall Family for hosting our final athlete dinner in their beautiful new home.  Thank you to Lisa Stovall and Milette Esposito for organizing this Potato Bar Dinner.  Whatever they ate, must’ve been good for their run on Saturday!

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS – WE NEED YOUR RSVP AND ENTREE CHOICE TODAY:

The XC Banquet will be held on Thursday, November 8 in the RHS Cafeteria at 5:30 pm. The Banquet will be catered by Outback.

All athletes are invited and there is no fee for their dinner. However, need to know everyone’s food preference. There is a $10 fee for parents/guests. Here’s how to RSVP:

ATHLETES: Please RSVP and choose your entree for the banquet via SURVEY in TeamApp.  The survey is only available to the runners on TA.
To locate the survey:
From your desktop: it is in the upper left corner and should have a red “1” link.
From phone: At the top of your TeamApp home screen, click on “Surveys Open”.

Entree Choices: 8oz Chicken Breast, 6 oz. Steak (cooked to medium-rare, but will reach medium at the time of service), or vegetarian (probably pasta).

PARENTS/GUESTS: Please RSVP with your entree choice by purchasing your ticket in the HORNET STORE on TeamApp.
